These photos were taken during a memorable day with truly great friends.  This “Hike For Pike” lake is accessed by taking an easy 30 minute walk from the bank of the Nonvionuk River.  It’s located just six miles upstream from the Alaska Adventures Lodge. 

Stripping a mouse pattern along the surface of this lake will truly get your heart racing.  There’s nothing like the violent heart pounding strike of the great Northern Pike.
